Bacteria removed include:

  • Escherichia coli,
  • Campylobacter,
  • Vibrio cholerae,
  • Pseudomonas aeruginosa,
  • Shigella
  • Salmonella
  • Protozoa removed include:
  • Giardia lamblia (“Beaver Fever”)
  • Cryptosporidium Parvum

Entamoeba histolytica.

Please note: The LifeStraw currently does not filter heavy metals or viruses, and will not desalinate water.

Would you ever need this though?

  3. Tame Howard @tamehoward

you would need this possibly if ur immediate area has been bombed. or maybe the "upcoming" apocalypse! They sound good 2 me anyway, especially since they now have a 5 yr. shelf life. But would wait 2 buy till things got a bit worse, like maybe the zombie apocalypse starts. @kodachromelife, if there ever is an apocalypse being a home body won't really matter. I am also a home body, but still thinking about getting prepared 2 some extent.

Me parece fantástico pero esto es para gente que realmente lo necesita, desgraciadamente hay mucha gente que no tiene acceso al agua potable
