Tibetan Socks are a super-cozy slipper/sock combination hand-woven from Yak wool in the Himalayas.
Made in villages by Tibetan women who knit them in their homes, this craft dates back generations and allows for mothers to stay home with their children while earning supplemental income for the family.
Each pair of Tibetan Socks sold gives back - we are able to provide 12 school lunches per sale to children in the remote Indian village of Sikkim; food, medicine, and books to the women and children at a safehouse for victims of sexual trafficking; or two weeks of lodging and food for a child in a monastery school in Tibet.
