The Guatemalan Chair is handmade from hardwood Teak and upholstered in England-a total one-off piece.

Made for the TV show "Money for Nothing", starting in September on BBC1 UK.

This armchair is a salvaged piece that was found in a skip. Its been re - upholstered with new springs, cushions and high quality fabric.

So relaxing to sit in, and just like a brand new chair 'well it is'

This combination blends our Flores brocade with authentic handcrafted Toliman ikat fabric. The Tahul brocade is woven by Maya textile artisans on a backstrap loom, the pattern is hand stitched across the weft as the base fabric is simultaneously woven.

By this ancient technique it takes 1 month to achieve a narrow panel of intricate fabric. It really is Art on a cloth.

The ikat is also produced entirely by oldskool methods, the pattern is bound into the raw yarn, which is then dyed, then set upon a pedal loom to be woven by hand.

This chair is ready to be shipped out to one lucky owner.

Dimensions 95 x 94 x 98 cm
